To help researchers improve their research efficiency and solve practical problems, Elsevier has launched a new round of Digital and Intelligent Research Training Camp this year.
Scopus AI is an intuitive and intelligent search tool powered by Generative AI (GenAI). It is closely intertwined with the academic community in its construction and can serve as a reliable guide to a vast amount of human knowledge within the multidisciplinary abstract and citation database Scopus. The source-neutral Scopus encompasses more than 27,800 peer-reviewed journals and over 330,000 books. By leveraging only the metadata and abstracts of Scopus documents published since 2003, Scopus AI is able to identify the most relevant content from among the database's more than 7,000 publishers. The knowledge base is updated daily to ensure that responses are always based on the latest information.
You can input queries in Scopus AI using everyday language, and it can generate easy-to-understand summaries as well as extended summaries to add depth and perspectives. The Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) fusion technology can enhance the quality, coherence, and contextual richness of these summaries. In addition to the summaries, Scopus AI also suggests asking questions "more in-depth", which helps you gain a deeper understanding and broaden your comprehension of the field. Scopus AI generates a "concept map" for each query using the keywords in the research summaries. This helps you get a bird's-eye view of the subject space and have a more comprehensive understanding of the topic and its relationships with other research areas. The Subject Matter Expert feature leverages the more than 1.96 million author profiles in Scopus to find the top researchers relevant to your query and generates summaries of their work and contributions.
