1 What can be deposited into the repository?

The Institutional Repository collects CEIBS related academic and intellectual achievements:
•    The outputs created by CEIBS members during their time at CEIBS.
•    The research/projects funded by CEIBS.
•    The authors affiliated with CEIBS.

2 What types of items can be deposited into the repository?

•    Journal articles
•    Working papers/preprints
•    Books, translation/edited books, chapters
•    Conference papers/workshop papers/meeting abstract/posters
•    Newspaper articles and columns
•    Cases
•    Reports
•    Datasets
•    Multimedia
•    Software
•    Patents

3 How can authors check the OA policy of publisher or funder?

Before submitting for deposit, please visit Sherpa Juliet to check the funder's OA policies and requirements, visit Sherpa Fact to check if a journal complies with a founder's OA requirements, visit Sherpa Romeo to check the journal's policies.

4 Which edition can be submitted for deposit in the repository?

For Gold OA articles, the final published version of the article (or Version of Record) can be made accessible worldwide as open access.
For Green OA articles, the version to be deposited depends on the funder or publisher, it might be the author’s original manuscript (AOM), or author accepted manuscript (AAM). Some should be made open access after an embargo period.
Sherpa Romeo provides summaries of publisher copyright and open access archiving policies on a journal-by-journal basis.

5 What are the licensing and citation requirements for items deposited in the repository?

The author permits the public to access, download, distribute, and save the paper through the Internet for study and research purposes only.
All documents, full-text items, and other files will be deposited with CC BY-NC-ND license, and all rights are reserved by the original copyright holders unless otherwise specified. If any copyright violation is proven, the relevant item will be removed immediately. The metadata of articles can be collected and reused in any medium without permission under the CC-0 license. However, users are still required to cite the source in accordance with academic ethics and norms.

6 How can authors submit their papers to the CEIBS institutional repository?

Accredited current or former members of CEIBS, or their delegated authors or agents can submit their papers to CEIBS institutional repository. Please send your documents to librefer@ceibs.edu .

7 How can authors request withdrawal or deletion of their works from the repository?

Please notify us via email at and attach the following information:
•    Author's contact information.
•    URL of the data in question.
•    Description of the issue and relevant attachments.

8 How can authors cite items in the repository?

Authors can refer to the web literature citation style, cite the essential publication details of the paper along with the URL of its location in the institutional repository.

9 Where can authors look for resources for open access publishing?

Authors can refer to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) or the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA) for OA resources.
