This lecture will start with the concept of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and the goals of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" (the "dual carbon" goals), sharing insights from the study of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization. By sorting out the "1+N" policy framework for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality over the past five years, it will summarize the characteristics and development trends of the dual carbon policy system.
Meanwhile, through an introduction to China’s progress in energy transition and upgrading, as well as achievements in technological breakthroughs and innovations, the lecture will demonstrate that China’s ecological civilization construction is undergoing a profound transformation—from partial governance to systematic advancement, and from passive response to proactive planning.
In addition, from a researcher’s perspective, it will also explain research methods in the field of "dual carbon."
