EMIS database has launched the database of Chinese public companies listed on the "New Third Board", which includes basic company information and complete financial statements of over 200 selected companies in the Beijing New Third Board Innovation Layer, as well as more than 6,700 companies trading on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) OTC market. In addition, the basic information of these companies has been further enhanced:
• The update frequency will change from monthly screening to daily screening;
• Complete lists of subsidiary companies, affiliated companies, and external investment companies;
• More comprehensive industry tags;
• Company descriptions will completely replace registered business scopes, which are more closely related to actual business operations.
Previously, EMIS had already achieved coverage of the "first board" market, namely the main board market (including Shanghai and Shenzhen), and the "second board" market, the ChiNext. The expansion of the "New Third Board" will fill the gap in EMIS's comprehensive coverage of China's major listed company trading markets, providing more detailed financial data for more companies. Whether it's competitive research for businesses or investment evaluations, more comprehensive and detailed insights will be available from now on.
In terms of specific searches, EMIS has made the following adjustments to its interface:
1. Check the OTC Trading option to screen for New Third Board companies.
• First, enter the Company Screener from EMIS homepage.
• Find the Listed/Unlisted dropdown option on the left side of the Company Screener page.
• Then check OTC Traded option. New Third Board companies have an independent classification as OTC trading.
❗ Note: China's OTC trading does not include companies listed on the Beijing Exchange. The Beijing Exchange belongs to the general listed companies.
2. By checking the Beijing Stock Exchange and/or the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) options, create a separate list of New Third Board companies.
• Firstly, expand the Company Screener.
• Find the Stock Exchanges dropdown option.
• Check the Beijing Stock Exchange and/or National Equities Exchange and Quotations NEEQ option.
Additionally, previously under the Company Screener page, the Legal Form option only included the Global standard, which did not conform to the classification habits of Chinese users. Now, when selecting Chinese companies, the Legal Form option has added Local, which includes legal forms that conform to local Chinese standards.
