Welcome to the New MBA Student Guide! CEIBS library offers much more besides being a place where you go to study and read. We would like to invite you to get familiar with our resources and connect you to our librarians. We hope that this guide can help you to discover the assistance you can get from us during your time at CEIBS.

Library Facilities for Your Convenience

  • Multi-function Printers (1/F, 2/F):
    • MBA: Please check the All About Printing guide to set up your printing information.
    • GEMBA: Please stop by the library or IT Office (AC2-206) for help
    • Staff: Please assign to the printer titled "CEIBS Printer". Then, scan your electronic CEIBS ID card at the printer in CEIBS. 
  • Smart Printer (1F): You can get a physical copy of your student certificate with an e-copy in your email box from this machine.
  • Coffee Vending Machine (1/F)
  • ATM (1/F): Deposit/Withdraw cash

Borrow & Renew

General Books

  • MBA students can borrow up to 8 items for 4 weeks at a time.
  • General item: 4-week loan; Exhibition item: 7-day loan; Textbook: 3-hour loan, overnight loan(6pm-9am+1).
  • Newspapers and reference books (like yearbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc.) are not for loan.
  • You can reserve up to 3 books at a time.
  • Only general books can be renewed online.

Alumni Service

Alumni can access part of the e-databases, and can borrow books when applying alumni library card.

  • Download Application Form
  • Deposit of RMB1500，either in cash or by transfer
    (For transfer, please provide a copy of the remittance voucher)
    (For online application, please send a screenshot of the transfer)

Cancellation:

  • Return all borrowed books
  • Pay off all overdue fines

Borrowing Rules:

  • Up to 4 books
    excluding reference books, etc.
  • Loan Period: 4 weeks
    If there is no reservation, the book can be renewed for 4 weeks.
    In case of urgent needs, the loan period will be shortened.
  • Fine: ￥0.3 / item / day
